Margaret Eugenia "Jean Maio" Stewart was known for her "big eye" paintings that were mass produced.  Girls I grew up with had these two ballerinas on their bedroom walls. I found a pair on a trip to a Habitat for Humanity Restore and heard them calling my name.  Their big eyes stared at me in my studio for a couple of years before I finally realized I wanted to know what happened to them when they grew up.  I present to you two young women in their rooms preparing for a night out - who are they, where are they going, and with whom? You get to write their story. Please note this art piece is designed to be plugged into a wall outlet to be fully experienced.
